  1. Ensuring full traceability of animals for their identification according to the current regulations (with ear loop readable; record of all events – birth, etc… with a rigorous classification). The seriousness of traceability depends on rigorous Identification procedures.
  2. The herd health: essential for the animals themselves, but it is also an element of public health. The breeders contracted with Laiterie Coralis have numerous responsibilities in the field of animal health, which include bi-annual monitoring through veterinary checks. To protect consumers the farmer contracted with Laiterie Coralis commit to inform the Cooperative (Coralis) of any health incidents.
  3. Diet: a healthy and balanced diet together with quality drinking water are essential to ensure the herd produces milk in good living conditions, in proper health and with a good level of production. The breeders supplying Laiterie Coralis provide adequate food and meet the nutritional needs of each animal (cow or calf). In spring and summer: grass and a little corn grass if insufficient.
