L’Orée du Jour milk is produced in Bretagne, the most western region in France. Laiterie Coralis was established in 1949 by 11 dairy farmers in the area around Rennes, the capital city of Bretagne. The dairy has become the local source of dairy products for the population around the magnificent and historic city of Rennes.

The dairy is located at the center of its milk collection area, ensuring close proximity to the farms it serves. No milk travels more than 40km between the farm where it is produced and the dairy; and fresh milk is treated to UHT within a maximum of 72 hours of cows’ milking.

Such short distance and time guarantee that the essential fatty acids and proteins of raw milk are not damaged during transportation, and that fresh milk has limited exposure to oxygen which can affect the health benefits of lipids present in the milk. By bringing fresh milk in its best possible condition to the dairy, Laiterie Coralis produces UHT milk with recognised nutritional values.

The brand builds on strong values of quality and proximity, embodied by regional milk farmers committed to responsible farming, quality production and care for the environment.
