The herds supplying milk to Laiterie Coralis are composed of Holstein cows. Holstein is a traditional breed of cows which has been used for more than 100 years in milk production in France
The small size of the farms mean that farmers usually keep a personal link with each animal: this reduces animal stress and helps produce consistently high quality milk.
